Thank you for being a part of the Forward Scholars tutoring team!

What’s been happening? 

All Site Coordinators and assessment volunteers have been busy pre-assessing students to determine our kindergarten through third grade tutees! All assessments are conducted by trained assessors and are completed to the highest caliber because our work is rooted in fidelity. In case you didn’t know–all students’ individualized lesson plans are created using this data so you are set up for success during your sessions. 

Chain of Communication

As a reminder, please direct questions about the program to your Site Coordinator. Your Site Coordinator will reach out to appropriate school staff or Dr. Streiff-Stuessy if further action is needed. 

Tutor Absence Form

Some of you may have pre-planned trips, appointments, etc., so please let us know what day/s you will be absent so we can find a substitute using Tutor Absence Form for the 2024 - 2025 school year.

If you are entering an absence AFTER NOON on a Friday for the following week Monday or Tuesday, please keep in mind it will not be seen until Monday morning. Please reach out to your site coordinator as well as filling out this form.
